The annual Med Camp is the most popular event of Semester 1 and provides an memorable orientation for first year students. Med Camp is an adventurous weekend getaway that allows new students to get to know each other as well as their senior counterparts.

Med Camp 2012 - Ayr

Med Camp was a success despite the stressful last minute venue changes. Once again the weather was against us but we managed to endure it. Many students will have their own ‘unique’ memories from Med Camp but who could forget ‘that’ mankini costume that was, well unfortunately overly revealing for everyone on the Friday night. Since Med Camp 2012, THE ‘Jim Burnell chant’ was also hailed to be “the best thing that has ever come from Med Camp” by Maggie Grant. Many thanks to all those people who put in so much time and effort to organise Med Camp this year. We hope all the students had as great a time as we did.
