Introduction

The James Cook University Medical Students Association (JCUMSA), the peak representative body for all medical students at James Cook University, was established in 2000. JCUMSA is a non-profit organisation that provides support for JCU medical students through their study of medicine and advocates on their behalf. JCUMSA is actively involved in providing for the academic, cultural and social needs of the medical students at JCU, and contributes to the university and wider community through various fundraising and supportive activities.
